Overview
Our underground drainage kits include everything needed to route water from downspouts completely away from your foundation. Each kit includes PVC pipe, pop-up emitters, fittings, and installation. These systems prevent the foundation water intrusion, erosion, and landscaping damage that occur when downspouts discharge too close to the home.
Benefits
- Routes water 10+ feet from foundation
- Prevents foundation water intrusion
- Eliminates surface water and erosion
- Pop-up emitters release water safely
- Invisible once installed
- 10-year warranty on system
Installation
We trench from each downspout to a safe discharge point 10+ feet from the foundation. PVC pipe is installed with proper slope for gravity flow. Pop-up emitters are installed at discharge points to release water at ground level. Installation takes 1–2 days for most homes.
Maintenance
Check pop-up emitters after heavy rains to ensure they're not blocked. Clear cleanouts annually. Ensure discharge points remain clear of landscaping.
Expected Lifespan
20–30 years. 10-year warranty on installation.
Ideal Applications
Homes with foundation drainage concerns, erosion problems, sloped lots, or where downspouts currently discharge too close to the foundation.
Cost Factors
- Number of downspouts to connect
- Trenching distance and depth
- Soil type and excavation difficulty
- Discharge point selection
- Landscape restoration after installation
Comparison
Underground drainage ($200–$500/downspout) costs more than splash blocks ($15–$30 each) but provides dramatically better foundation protection. For homes with any foundation water issues, underground drainage is strongly recommended over surface discharge.
